Leather Masters – Leather Masters was founded in — by 2 ambitious Entrepreneur’s, David Carranza and Tony DaCosta. After realizing a genuine need for high quality leather products in demand by the Leather men’s community, they embarked on gathering the tools, knowledge, sources and skills to make Leather Masters a reality. Starting with small venues like community events and gatherings at bars, success was realized. And word spread rapidly of the quality and fair pricing that Leather Masters had to offer.
In 1991 Leather Masters out grew its cottage industry format, and the first retail operation was opened at 969 Park Ave, San Jose CA. In house production expanded and thrived allowing further expansion into the wholesale market as well as retail. To this day, Leather Masters produces 70% of all its leather goods sold in retail, wholesale and through it’s on line store.
In 2005 a second Leather Masters was established at 3000 Main St in Dallas Texas, and a great deal of the manufacturing was relocated to the larger 6000 sq ft building in Dallas Texas. Manufacturing continues at the original Leather Masters, but on a smaller scale and generally is focused on the more unusual items LM offers.
